OTOX Ear Drops Suspension for Dogs and Cats, 15ml

Otox Ear Drops is an oily suspension specially formulated for the treatment of Otitis externa in dogs and cats.

Composition

Each gram of suspension contains:

• Ofloxacin: 3 mg
• Fipronil: 10 mg
• Prednisolone: 2.5 mg

Properties & Active Ingredients

• Ofloxacin: Broad-spectrum antibiotic incorporated for its activity against gram-negative organisms associated with Otitis externa, particularly Pseudomonas species and Proteus species.
• Fipronil: Highly active against fleas, flea eggs, larvae, and ticks, and highly recommended for the treatment of Otodectes cynotis infestation in dogs and cats.
• Prednisolone: Incorporated for its anti-inflammatory activity.

Indications

• Otitis externa in dogs and cats
• Otodectes cynotis infestation in dog and cat

Dosage and Administration

• Shake the bottle before use.
• 5-10 drops of Otox should be instilled into the ear canal twice daily.
• Wash hands after use.
• The length of treatment will depend upon individual cases, but maximum treatment period of 7 days is recommended.

Contraindications & Warnings

• Do not use in case of perforated ear drum.
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to active substances or to the excipients.
• The use is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• People with known hypersensitivity to active ingredients should avoid contact with this product.
• Wash hands after use.
• Avoid contact with eyes.

Storage

• Do not store above 25 °C.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
• Plastic squeeze dropper bottles supplied in boxes of 15x1 ml.
