Advocate Spot-On for Small Cats (Up to 4 kg) - one ampoule
Type: Broad-spectrum OTC monthly spot-on combining imidacloprid and moxidectin for external and internal parasite control in cats up to 4 kg.
What It Treats
- Kills adult fleas and prevents re-infestation for 4 weeks.
- Treats ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
- Treats and controls gastrointestinal roundworms and hookworms.
- Prevents heartworm disease with monthly use.
- Assists in the management of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
Dosage and Administration
- Use one 0.4 ml pipette for cats weighing up to 4 kg.
- Apply once monthly to the skin at the base of the skull by parting the fur and emptying the entire tube on one spot.
- Do not bathe the cat immediately after application; allow the site to dry.
Use Notes
- For kittens from 9 weeks of age and ≥1 kg body weight.
- Apply to intact skin only; avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
- Treat all pets in the household with appropriate products to control environmental flea burden.
Precautions
- Do not use in cats under 9 weeks, under 1 kg, or in animals with known hypersensitivity to the components.
- Transient salivation may occur if the animal licks the application site; correct application minimizes this.
- Consult a veterinarian before use in sick or debilitated animals, or during pregnancy and lactation.
